Originally built in 2009 with generic finishes, this condo was beginning to show its age; our clients approached us ready to remake it to suit their lifestyle and aesthetic.
We focused on using custom walnut millwork to define spaces and provide much-needed storage, including a brand-new kitchen, dining room storage wall, built-in desk at the mezzanine, and a custom vanity in the bathroom.
Small moves, such as turning the bottom landing of the stair, had a big impact on furniture layout and useability of the space, and big moves, like installing a statement light fixture in the double-height living room, revealed the clients’ delight in art and drama.
We also worked with the clients to choose furniture and place art, which enabled us to be even more precise in our planning of the project and creation of a unified aesthetic.
