Happy Green Kitchen in Jamaica Plain

We love this sweet green kitchen we just finished in Jamaica Plain!

The owners were looking for a fun and practical space that works for everyday life with dogs and friends and cooking and entertaining, and that was reflective of their personalities. The design really started coming together when we visited the stoneyard, and fell in love with this white soapstone!

When designing a space that has lots of different materials and functional needs, it's often helpful to find a material or two that can be the design's "guiding light" - the inspiration and pivot point around which all other decisions revolve. Here, once we had the stone, everything else started to fall into place!
